Thomas is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and received his diploma in osteopathic manual practice (D.O.M.P.) and a diploma in the science of osteopathy (D.Sc.O) from the Canadian School of Osteopathy – Vancouver Campus. In 2019, he presented his award-winning thesis “A Qualitative Study on the Role of Altruism in Graduates of the Collège D’Études Ostéopathique”.

Previously, he graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2009. From there, he worked as a High-Performance Strength Coach with Alpine Canada. Thomas traveled the world chasing the snow, supporting the Women’s Alpine ski team with dry-land training, and various race-related activities on the hill. As a part of the team, Thomas gained a lot of experience working with injury and the rehabilitation process.

Thomas was drawn to osteopathy because of his interest in improving people’s over-all health, well-being, vitality and function. Thomas continues to be amazed by the human structure, and the connection between the mind, that ‘structure’ and the human spirit. Thomas considers Osteopathic practice a vocation and not just a job. He brings his enthusiasm and curiosity into his daily practice.

When he isn’t at the clinic, Thomas likes to be active and is quite diverse in his interests which include hiking, strength training, running, road biking, and basketball. In his downtime, Thomas enjoys travel, reading, movies, painting, and continual education.

At Fairview Osteopathy, our practitioners are experts in their fields, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to each session.
